When I listened to this album for the first time it was also the first time I heard this band. I liked it immediately and though the name states it, I didn't realize it was live. when I did, I was just like: WOW! so perfect performance.

I like this live-Album from Sgt. Thunderhoof. The Riffs are a smooth, shwifty mix/hybrid between hard chords with fuzzy influences and psychic sprawling vibes. Just hear it.
Favorite track: Devil Whore (live).
Recorded live at Moles Club in Bath. Audio taken from 2 shows in 2016. Mixed by Josh Gallop at Stage 2 Studios.
"Recorded live at Moles Club Bath, and I know what you’re probably thinking… a live album? Well this is probably gonna suck. Well think again, my friend. This is Sergeant Thunderhoof we’re talking about here, and when it comes to live performances these guys never seem to be lacking in terms of sound quality and musical proficiency. In fact their studio albums (like any good stoner/doom record) are recorded live for the most part, with very few overdubs. The result is an album with an especially natural feel that first takes you to another world and then gently reminds you it’s a live concert recording on planet earth in front of a crowd of screaming fans. I find when it comes to live albums a lot of the weight falls on the shoulders of the vocalist as well as the sound engineers. Vocally this album is an outstanding example of a singer that was born to belt it, and from an engineer’s standpoint it’s absolutely flawless. The mixing is brilliant, and the layers of psychedelic sound effects (delays, reverbs, phasers, etc.) are masterfully crafted to embellish the sound without overpowering the human element."
